Course Description

The Content Server Developer course covers the two distinct aspects of development of a Content Server system. To start with, participants build a new content management site according to a brief set of design plans that introduces a fictitious development scenario.Using this scenario, participants will gain experience in user management, content design, user interface administration, site configuration, and publishing.Once the management site is configured, participants learn how to take the content they’ve created and display it on a rendered website. The course identifies and describes the most common JSP tags. Using these tags and a specific rendering model, participants are then tasked with developing templates to display the content managed in their editorial site.Learn To: Program JSPs for web site development and content renderingConfigure the Content Server editorial interface for content contributorsCreate and configure an Asset ModelConfigure a real-time publish sessionDebug code and read the log fileImplement a modular page design frameworkA Live Virtual Class (LVC) is exclusively for registered students; unregistered individuals may not view an LVC at any time.
