This course introduces students to Oracle Exadata Storage Server Version 2 (Exadata). Students learn about the architecture and key capabilities of Exadata along with how to configure, monitor and optimize it. Students are introduced to various options for migrating to Exadata and learn how to select the best approach.The course focuses on the features and capabilities of the Sun Oracle Exadata Storage Server. The Sun Oracle Database Machine is also introduced. Although this course does not have hands-on labs, scripted demonstrations help students understand the concepts behind Exadata Storage Server.This course is based on Exadata Storage Version 2 on the Sun DB Machine.Learn To:Compare traditional storage solutions with Exadata storageThe key capabilities and features of ExadataConfigure and monitor ExadataMigrate to ExadataA Live Virtual Class (LVC) is exclusively for registered students; unregistered individuals may not view an LVC at any time.
