Developing Endeca Page Builder (D75395GC10)

This two-day class is an introduction to developing Endeca-powered Web applications. You will be introduced to the Endeca Workbench describing the role this application plays in an Endeca implementation, as well as providing an overview of its key features and administration. You will learn how to develop template-driven, Endeca-enabled Web applications using Endeca's online commerce solution offering. You will start things off by learning how to quickly configure the out-of-the-box cartridges and reference Web application to work with any MDEX instance. Next, you will construct landing pages using Endeca Page Builder, a core component of Endeca's Merchandising Workbench. You will also learn how to design new templates to serve as the basis on which additional landing pages can be created. You will be introduced into some of the custom extensions to Page Builder provided by Endeca. The Workshop on the second will provide you with the opportunity to build on your existing knowledge of either the Endeca Java presentation API or the ASP.NET RAD Toolkit.
