Course Description

In this course participants gain expertise with Oracle BI Publisher 10g (10.1.3.3) This course teaches to install BI Publisher Desktop,an MS-Word add-in to create report templates. Students learn to create and publish templates for the BI Publisher reports. Students will also perform various administrative tasks such as configuring the scheduler, configuring report delivery media, and setting up Excel analyzer. This course also covers advanced features of BI Publisher such as creating reports with hyperlinks, scheduling and managing scheduled reports, bursting the reports, using online and Excel analyzers to analyze the data in BI Publisher reports, and creating reports from data templates. Hands-on exercises reinforce concepts taught in class.
