Course Description
IBM Netcool/Impact is a highly scalable analytics engine that adds event and service enrichment as well as business impact analysis to events and augments event automation with contextual data. The goal is to allow you to overcome the "who is responsible" syndrome. Impact mostly takes input from Omnibus, but also from other event feeds. This version focuses on: easier use, faster install and configure (through the event Processor Service GUI, integration with additional Tivoli products and current versions of products (TEC, ITM, MRO Service Desk) , a new AJAX Policy Editor for the administrator that replaces the existing IPL (policy) editor, enhancements to the Operator View (especially more flexible third-party integrations).
