Course Description

Part 1: This course provides an introduction to IBM Rational System Architect. Working with a simple scenario you learn about the System Architect environment, including an overview of supported methodologies and notations, encyclopedia concepts, drawing techniques, and model components.

Part 2: This is an introductory course for those planning to use IBM Rational System Architect for Enterprise Architecture (EA) or Business Process Analysis (BPA). Whether you have experience using visual modeling environments or have simply used a white board or pen and paper, this two-day course provides you with the start you need to use and apply Rational System Architect's BPMN to your everyday visual modeling work. The course will cover everything from how to start Rational System Architect and use the Rational System Architect's Repository to BPMN concepts, model creation, publishing and associations with other enterprise domains.

This boot camp is a combination of the following two courses:

• Fundamentals of IBM Rational System Architect V11.3 (QB132)
• Business Modeling using BPMN with Rational System Architect (QB111), 2 days
