Course Description

The course will introduce existing AIX 6 and POWER6 administrators to the features available with POWER7 Systems and AIX 7.1 LPARs. This is similar to what Implementing POWER6, Virtualization and AIX 6.1 for POWER5/AIX 5L Administrators (AN02) was for AIX5/POWER administrators. This will be accomplished by discussing the details associated with the POWER7 hardware, PowerVM, and the AIX version 7 operating system.

This course provides lectures and hands on labs in a face-to-face classroom setting. The course is also offered in a live virtual classroom environment with hands-on labs POWER7 Systems and AIX 7.1 Differences Workshop - ILO (AX080)
