Course Description

This course covers the features and functions supported by the Backup and Recovery Media Services (BRMS). BRMS is an integrated and comprehensive tool for managing backup and recovery operations on the System i. The lectures will describe how to perform the supported functions and you will then have the opportunity to practice in lab exercises what you have learned in lecture.

This course provides lectures and hands on labs in a face-to-face classroom setting. The course is also offered in a live virtual classroom environment (ILO - Instructor Led Online) with hands-on labs: BRMS for IBM i - ILO (OV281).
