OpenSSO Consultant Job Description

GCA Technology Services is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Consultant - OpenSSO with Sun Directory Server expertise to join its growing Professional Services division. This is a Full Time position.

Job Locations:
Primarily Tampa, FL, but the right candidate's location is flexible as work will primarily be performed at customer sites.

Job Description
Integration, troubleshooting, customization, and implementation of OpenSSO and DS solutions at an enterprise level using the Sun Microsystems suite of products. Responsible for developing enterprise-level integrated solutions for legacy and modernized systems within commercial and government organizations. The Sr. Technical Consultant will also provide architecture, design and implementation expertise of OpenSSO and Directory Server products during the pre-sale effort.

• Configure OpenSSO
• Integrate OpenSSO and IdM with customer's applications
• Train other developers on how to develop code for OpenSSO and IdM
• Support OpenSSO and IdM

Summary of Requirements
The ideal candidate must possess an in-depth hands-on knowledge of SUN OpenSSO and Directory Server suite of product. Knowledge and hands-on expertise in supporting technologies including Java, LDAP, Databases, networks, etc. will also be expected. Prior consulting experience, good verbal and written communication skills and ability to travel a minimum of 50% of the time is also required.

The ideal candidate for the Senior Technical OpenSSO Consultant position is a seasoned consultant with experience in designing, developing and implementing Sun Directory and Access Management products including but not limited to: SUN OpenSSO, Sun Directory Server (LDAP).

• Previous experience in a consulting environment and/or Professional Services organization
• Proven experience in writing and reviewing SOWs
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Access Manager/OpenSSO experience
• Java development experience
• Sun Solaris experience
• Hands-on expertise in OpenSSO and supporting technologies including Java, LDAP, Databases, networks, etc
• Demonstrated technical leadership skills to manage and direct junior level staff
• Ability to travel a minimum of 50% of the time
• U.S. citizen
• Must be able to obtain a TS clearance

The following is DESIRED:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3+ years of experience with J2EE development and XML
• Experience with authentication systems such as SecurID, RFID, Smartcard and biometric systems
• Current /active TS clearance
