St. Petersburg, FL - October 5, 2004 GCA, a leading provider of education services to Fortune 1000 companies and government agencies, was recently named as the first Novell Training Service Provider authorized to deliver the SUSE Linux courseware in the United States. Novell purchased SUSE, a German company, in January, 2004. GCA will be offering the SUSE Linux training at their regional training centers located in Hampton, Houston, San Diego, Seattle, and Tampa Bay beginning in November, 2004. Novell SUSE Program Novell' SUSE Linux curriculum is based on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, and is primarily centered around two course paths, one for SUSE Certified Linux Professionals (SCLP), and one for SUSE Certified Linux Experts (SCLE). Each SUSE certification requires the passing of two generic tests administered by the Linux Professional Institute (LPI), and a third test developed by SUSE. With the new SUSE Linux courses, GCA now offers a full suite of Linux courses designed for both Red Hat and SUSE distributions, the number one and number two most popular Linux distributions in the United States. For Red Hat Linux training, GCA' offerings are designed around the highly acclaimed courseware written by Guru Labs. GCA training centers will be adding open enrollment schedules for the new SUSE Linux courses beginning in November, 2004. In addition, GCA can deliver the training "dedicated" to a single customer, either on site at the customer' facility, or at a GCA location. The "dedicated" training can be customized to meet individual customer requirements. GCA develops and delivers custom courseware solutions to customers nationwide.
