GCA and Sun Microsystems Release Solaris 10 Curriculum Nationwide

Tampa, FL - February 1, 2005 - GCA, a leading provider of education services to Fortune 1000 companies and government agencies, has recently added the complete Sun Microsystems' Solaris 10 system and network administration curriculum to its offerings. Through its Authorized Sun Education Center (ASEC) partnership, GCA will be offering these courses through public schedules at each of their regional training centers located in Hampton, VA; Houston, TX; San Diego, CA; Seattle, WA; and Tampa, FL beginning in February, 2005. These courses can also be customized and delivered as dedicated and onsite classes for groups of six or more attendees from a single customer.

Solaris 10 is a significant upgrade from previous versions of the operating system, and offers customers considerable value over Solaris 9. New features include full support for AMD and x86 platforms, an innovative approach to virtualization, an advanced file system (ZFS), and enhanced performance analysis and diagnostic tools (including DTrace). In addition, the convergence of Solaris 10 with Trusted Solaris provides customers with enhanced security. This rich set of features differentiates Solaris 10 from its competition in the server operating system market.
