GCA was named Education Partner of the Year and received the award for Most Innovative Solution. The Sun Microsystems 2004 iForce Partner Excellence Awards recognize Partners that have excelled in providing innovative, customer-driven solutions and superior services. "Education Partner of the Year" is awarded to the Education Partner who has demonstrated a willingness to closely partner with Sun Knowledge Services to provide customers with best-of-breed education solutions. GCA won this award over all other Education Partners in North America based on the evaluation of several objective criteria, including quality of training, ability to exceed customer expectations, and revenue. "Most Innovative Solution" is awarded to the Education Partner who has delivered the most innovative customer solution based on Sun Microsystems technology. The winning solution must result in a measurable impact on the way the end user customer conducts business and must be implemented and integrated by the Partner. GCA won this award over all other Education Partners in North America based on an evaluation of the extent to which the solution helped the end user customer increase it's market share, gain access to new customers, or improve their overall IT environment; and the extent to which Sun technology was used. The winning entry was for the delivery of a custom portal solution for NASA. The portal was developed and delivered by GCA and involved an interactive satellite broadcast to 15 NASA centers nationwide. The solution was developed using customized NASA content and demonstrated Sun's award winning portal technologies. GCA develops and delivers custom courseware solutions to customers nationwide.
